The students started a design engineering project last week. It is called the LINX System and they had to design and build a wooden, sailed powered vehicle that:1. had a base with an area less than 200 cm2
2. could traveled 8M in under 12 seconds.
3. and could do this twice in a row.
The kids had saws, hand drills, glue, triangles, and wood that they could use to construct their vehicle.
